First Officer

Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the specific functions related to the operation of the aircraft to which they are assigned (A321 or A330).

Responsibilities

• Participate in flight planning and preparation.
• Perform duties assigned by the Captain.
• Carry out any other tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).

Qualifications

• Hold a certified logbook documenting flight hours.
• Hold a Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or a Commercial Pilot Licence with passed IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams.
• Hold thorough knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
• Hold a Class 1 medical certificate.
• Be a Canadian citizen or hold permanent resident status.
• No travel restrictions to the United States or countries served by Air Transat.
• A college-level pilot training diploma is an asset.
