Advance research on fish physiology at The University of British Columbia as a Research Associate. Focus on gill regeneration in Atlantic salmon, contributing to innovative studies and publications.
The Department of Zoology is seeking a full-time, PhD-level Research Associate with expertise in fish physiology. You will work under Dr. Colin Brauner, engaging in molecular, biochemical, and physiological research related to gill resection and regeneration. Applicants must have four years of postdoctoral experience in related fields and a strong publication record.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on gill regeneration in Atlantic salmon
• Mentor research students and assist with their projects
