Fisheries Project Engineer — Hydropower & Innovation

Kleinschmidt has a full-time opening for a Project Engineer to support the design and construction of fish passage projects from our Halifax, Nova Scotia office. If you are interested in using your engineering background to work on important projects that make a real difference, then this may be the job for you. An ideal candidate would enjoy the challenge of combining sound engineering fundamentals with creative thinking to solve unique problems.

Salary: $102,000 - $120,000 CDN

Who You Are

A licensed Professional Engineer (or commitment to becoming one) with BEng and a minimum of 6 years' experience in fisheries engineering or a closely related field. Previous experience with fisheries engineering work is preferred, but candidates with a structural (concrete and steel) design background who are interested in focusing on the fish passage design fields would be considered....
