Fitter Machinist

About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Richlands.

Your responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications
• Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components
• Cleaning and preparing components
• Assemble and testing of cylinders
• Attend and participate in toolbox talks
• Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• Relevant Trade (essential) and welding qualifications (highly desirable)
• Experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders
• Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process including machining and welding
