Job Title and Location

Mechanical Fitter – Coleford, Gloucestershire – Permanent – 37.5 hours, 6 am to 2 pm / 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday – circa £34,000 per year

About the role

Due to continued growth over the past couple of years, our client is expanding the team and is seeking a Fitter/Mechanical Assembler on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build products from engineering drawings.
• Use power and hand tools.
• Raise any assembly issues with the QA Engineer and Supervisor.
• Fill in production data books with project‑critical information requested.
• Complete check quality sheets.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental rules as detailed in risk assessments and COSHH sheets.
• Work as part of a team.
