Fitter - Pump Manufacturing

Fitter or Millwright with recognized Trade Test and 5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience in a Pump Manufacturing environment required for our global Client based in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.  Candidates must present with a strong ability to read and interpret engineering, GA and technical drawings with a solid understanding of pump assembly, strip-down and maintenance processes.

Purpose of Role:
Provide day to day support to the manufacturing team enabling them to fulfil their duties required for the business unit in order to meet deadlines and objectives.  Maintain high standards of support in accordance with the Company’s procedures.  Conduct work activities in a professional manner that reflects positively on the image of the company and conforms to current Health and Safety legislation, upholding the Client’s Health and Safety Policy.
