Fitter - Roll Bay

Your Mission

• Perform specialized Roll Bay mechanical fitting duties, including strip‑down, inspection, repair, alignment, assembly, and installation of rolls and components.
• Execute mechanical diagnostic activities including testing, inspection, troubleshooting, fault finding, measuring, and recording of results to:
  • Reduce downtime
  • Minimize breakdowns
  • Improve plant and equipment availability
• Conduct prescribed periodic inspections and audits to proactively identify risks and prevent equipment failure.
• Execute all tasks safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and company policies.
• Perform scheduled preventative and condition‑based maintenance on Roll Bay equipment and plant.

• 4 – 5 years post‑trade experience as a qualified, trade‑tested Mechanical Fitter in a heavy manufacturing environment
