Responsibilities

• Determining specifications for components to be created based on drawings for mechanical systems.
• Perform cutting, shaping, grinding, and welding of steel materials and piping systems.
• To assemble piping and fittings with good knowledge of steelwork.
• Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
• Adhering to on-site regulations as applicable.
• Able to use hand tools for steel work.
• Be responsible for the tools, machines, and equipment related to welding work and report to the supervisor if there is any malfunction.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety procedures, and project timelines.
• Ensure necessary precautions are taken and wear appropriate PPE before hot work tasks.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
