Responsibilities:

• Determining specifications for components to be created based on drawings for mechanical systems.
• Measuring and constructing components out of raw materials through cutting, shaping and grinding.
• To assemble piping and fittings with good knowledge of steel work.
• Assembling fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
• Complying with operations and safety procedures.
• Understanding technical drawings.
• Adhering to other overall on-site regulations.
• Able to use hand tool for steel work.
• To be responsible for the tools, machine and equipment that is related to the welding work and report to the superior if there is any malfunction.
• To ensure all work is complete within target time given by the superior.
• To ensure necessary precautions are taken and wear appropriate PPE before hot work task.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.
