Fitter Service Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. 

Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role 

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 
Location: Castleford 
Type of Contract: Permanent  
Hours: 37.5 hour working week, Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm, Friday 8.00am-1.30pm  

Responsibilities of the Fitter/Service Support

De-contamination of pump units prior to inspection
Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition
Assembly and testing of pump sets
Identifying spare parts
Compilation of findings into detailed inspection report
Mechanical measurement of components
Electrical inspections

Requirements for a successful Fitter/Service Support

Overhead crane, lifting and slinging operator license
Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or similar or timed served
Electric motor and control equipment experience
