Fitters Mate

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Fitters Mate to join our Engineering team at Silver Fern Farms Finegand, one of New Zealand’s leading beef and lamb processing sites. In this role, you’ll support our mechanical trades teams, help keep production running smoothly, and play a key part in our preventative maintenance and lubrication programmes.

Shifts are 9 hour days in between the hours of 6am‑5pm dependent of processing requirements.

In this role, you will:

• Support the mechanical trades team across processing departments, helping ensure equipment is ready for the production day.
• Carry out pre‑op duties to a high standard and on time.
