Fixed Asset Analyst

Job Summary:

The Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate records of the company's fixed assets, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, physical tagging, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role supports audits, asset inventories, and contributes to asset planning and budgeting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets in the accounting system.
• Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all physical assets.
• Monitor and maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accuracy of data.
• Calculate and record monthly depreciation in accordance with accounting policies.
• Perform periodic physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile with accounting records.
