Become a Fleet Engineer 2 at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll you'll lead technical projects to develop vehicle specifications, designs, drawings, contracts, and production. The Engineer analyses alternatives and suppliers to optimize crew safety, functionality, productivity, and costs. This position can develop into the Fleet Engineer 3 or Senior Fleet Engineer roles which specialize in aerial work platforms, high voltage equipment, digger derricks and cranes. This position is technical in its nature and will have a meaningful impact on employee safety and productivity through the decisions that are made by the Engineer. Significant team collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills are required to be successful when collaborating with crews, crew leadership, garages, and suppliers.
