Job Description
Contribute to emergency medical services as a Fleet Runner with Emergency Medical Care Inc. in Nova Scotia. Engage in essential fleet maintenance and mechanical repairs to ensure reliable operational vehicles.
This role reports to the Manager of Fleet & Physical Resources and is integral to maintaining a fleet of ambulances for emergency responses. Your duties will involve light repairs, ensuring vehicles are stocked, maintaining cleanliness, and following proper decontamination protocols. You will also assist in keeping the fleet centre in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform light mechanical repairs on ambulances
• Conduct thorough maintenance at facilities'
• Ensure vehicles meet EMC readiness standards
• Carry out necessary cleaning as per protocols
• Maintain overall cleanliness at the fleet center
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required WHMIS certification
• Class 4 License must be obtained
