Flight Control Laws Expert

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize next-generation pilot-in-the-loop CLaws based on handling qualities, performance requirements, and structural envelope protections.
• Validate and verify (V&S) complex control law designs across multiple testing platforms and real-time simulator environments.
• Ensure all CLaws software architectures strictly align with DO-178B and SAE ARP4754 engineering guidelines.
• Evaluate complex system failures, state estimations, and flight dynamics stability utilizing desktop simulations and live test data.
• Manage the integration of control systems into specialized test rigs and Tier-1 supplier hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of dedicated experience developing Flight Control Laws for Fly-By-Wire (FBW) aircraft.
