**Job Description**

The Floor Care Technician cleans and maintains floors, carpets and hard surfaces in a hospital setting. This position provides a broad variety of cleaning projects and services required to maintain the cleanliness and efficiency of various facilities.

**Responsibilities**

+ Cleans and maintains a wide variety of floor surfaces using specialized professional cleaning methods appropriate to the situation.
+ Completes specialized cleaning tasks including, but not limited to the following:

+ Sweeps, mops, buffs, polishes, scrubs, strips and refinishes hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
+ Vacuums, spot cleans and extracts carpeted floor surfaces
