Food Buyer

My client, a highly successful food retailer, is seeking a commercial and innovative Food Buyer to join their expanding buying team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a highly established food business. Dublin based.

Responsibilities of this Food Buyer job include:

  • Manage a portfolio of brands, including product selection, range reviews, new listings, and delistings based on market needs.

  • Analyse performance data to optimise ranges, improve margins, and meet sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Source new products and suppliers and coordinate promotional planning and communication.

  • Ensure customer and wholesale requirements are met across range, pricing, presentation, and promotions.

  • Collaborate with the buying team and lead by example, promoting clear communication and team support.
