Food Server

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble patient meal trays according to prescribed diets and portion standards
• Deliver meals to patient rooms accurately and on schedule
• Push and transport food carts between kitchen and nursing units
• Assist patients courteously during meal service when needed
• Collect used trays, utensils, and carts after meal times
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, carts, and equipment
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures at all times
• Check meal tickets to ensure correct patient and diet compliance
• Report patient concerns or dietary issues to the Dietitian or Supervisor
• Support kitchen and dietary team with basic food preparation when required

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• With experience in food service, hospital, or cafeteria setting is an advantage
