Food Service Worker (Barista)

Summary About the position: This is a Flexible (Intermittent) category position located at the Daily Grind Coffee Shop, 423d Force Support Squadron, RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. The incumbent may be required to work 0-40 hours per week, although there are no guaranteed weekly hours. The position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, stooping, bending, pulling, and reaching. Responsibilities Operates limited coffee operation. Prepares a limited variety of hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, etc, by selecting proper ingredients. Serves cold beverages and food items such as frappuccinos, smoothies, soda, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries, bagels, etc. Prepares and assembles food items such as sandwiches, paninis, fruit, and salad bowls to include slicing bread, meat, and cheese items and washing and dicing fruits and vegetables for use in the daily menu.
