Food Service Worker, Per Diem

Description

In this role, you will be an integral member of the team to provide the best customer service by performing a variety of duties relevant to the retail food service operations of the Department of Nutrition. Responsibilities include:

+ Set up service lines
+ Pre-plate and serve food
+ Aid in the preparation of meals
+ Merchandise food items, maintain the beverage station
+ Act as a food runner
+ Measure temperatures of hot and cold items
+ Wash dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment

This is a per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career. Effective 06/22/2025, employees represented by the
AFSCME Union will receive a minimum wage of $25.

Please note: This role requires flexibility to float across locations during the training period.

+ Ability to travel to multiple UCLA Health locations.
