You as a Patient Food Service Supervisor will : 
Be responsible to supervise, train, schedule, evaluate and mentor front-line food service employees who are assigned to work on receiving, preparing, portioning, serving, delivery and collection and ware-washing.

Conduct audits, tours food services and patient care units and ensures departmental standards are met.

Supervise unionized personnel and/or students including: determining workload and delegating assignments, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective and disciplinary actions as per CUPE collective agreement.

Manage food supply, preparation of meals, beverages, and nourishments to ensure compliance with standardized menus.

Participate in departmental planning and project work.

Participate in controlling costs and quality improvement initiatives.
