We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to drive strategic financial planning across departments—ensuring sales, margin, and inventory productivity targets are met. This role is crucial in aligning financial goals with product strategies, using data-driven insights to optimize performance for both online and offline platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Strategy
Develop and execute merchandise financial plans and inventory forecasts
Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to align on category strategies
Present Open-to-Buy (OTB) and monthly forecasts with actionable insights
Sales & Inventory Analysis
Analyze historical trends and current data to identify risks and opportunities
Recap actual sales vs. targets and create updated forecasts weekly/monthly
Reconcile top-down and bottom-up category/class plans
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Merchandising, Sales, Operations, and Corplan teams
