Forestry Machinery Plant Operator

Log Loader Operators drive heavy machinery on the wharf for the loading and unloading of logs from trucks as they arrive at the port. Our operators ensure that the logs are safely moved and stacked neatly and accurately in rows, so that they can be brought to the ship's side when they are required to be loaded onto log vessels.

C3 operate a variety of heavy machinery including High Stackers and Pivot Steers with log grapples. As the role involves operating large machinery in a confined space on the wharf - accuracy, attention to detail and a strong focus on Health & Safety is a priority.

On offer is casual work to fit in with shipping schedules. This position requires flexibility regarding working hours as there are a range of shifts across a 24/7 work environment influenced by shipping schedules.

About you

You will hold a minimum of a full class 1 licence and preferably have forestry experience in a log fleeting environment or similar. Training ...
