Formwork Carpenter

Overview

Matrix HR is seeking experienced Concrete Formwork Carpenters for commercial and infrastructure projects in Halifax. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Doka, Peri, or Aluma formwork systems, rebar installation, and concrete work.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, and dismantle formwork panels with precision.
• Install and tie rebar according to project specifications.
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed.
• Ensure all work meets blueprints, structural plans, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a formwork carpenter on concrete projects.
• Proficient with Doka, Peri, or Aluma systems and rebar installation.
• Ability to read plans and drawings accurately.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights or in demanding environments.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and commitment to safety.
