This full-time position involves guiding the municipality in environmental regulatory compliance. Your role will include monitoring environmental practices, leading inspections, and managing consultant contracts. Collaborating with external agencies, you will influence environmental strategies and promote sustainable practices within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the implementation of the Environmental Management System
• Conduct research to improve compliance methods
• Collaborate with intergovernmental teams on initiatives
• Draft regulatory reports and recommendations
• Assist during environmental incidents and investigations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related Environmental or Engineering field
• Minimum five years in environmental regulatory roles
