Foundation Development Officer

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Mid-Level Gift Officer, you will help the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Foundation team maximize philanthropic opportunities in each division across the system.

Every day you will focus on a sales and development-based approach to fundraising, which involves primarily calling and occasionally meeting with prospects and investors in the local community, and generate results from those conversation. You will be expected to secure funding for a changing set of projects, such as needs within individual hospitals or organizations, local community initiatives and division efforts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

+ Identifies and prioritizes mid-level prospects and investors.
+ Stewards all donors to ensure ongoing support and to maintain high levels of donor retention.
