Fourth Engineer (4E) WE ARE HIRING: Fourth Engineer (4E) Main Responsibilities Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and recording of all repairs to assigned machinery. Act as Engine Room Watchkeeper. Maintain strict compliance with safe working practices, SMS, and Environmental Management System (EMS) standards. Assist with Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) and its documentation. Actively participate as a Behaviour Based Safety Observer and follow safe Hot Work Procedures. Requirements Valid Fourth Engineer license and up-to-date STCW credentials. Readiness to perform duties similar to those of a Third Engineer, as assigned by the Chief Engineer. Strong commitment to safety culture (Speaking up when unsafe practices or conditions are identified). High professional standards and ability to work effectively within an emergency response team.
