Freelance Simultaneous Interpreter (Portuguese - Mandarin)

We are looking for an experienced freelance simultaneous interpreter to support an in-person user research project in São Paulo.

Project overview

Dates: 3 consecutive days in March (exact dates TBD)

Context: Design prototype testing

Format: Client-only simultaneous interpretation from an observation room

Sessions: 2 × 120-minute interviews per day, plus light support between sessions

Scope of work

Provide simultaneous interpretation for client observation sessions

Support brief client–moderator communication before and between interviews

Review light background materials in advance (prototype overview and terminology)

Requirements

Proven experience with simultaneous interpretation

Comfortable with design-related topics

Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a research or usability testing environment
