Freight Booking Officer

Reserve bookings and equipment's for our EXW, FOB and FCA orders.
Evaluate the best combination between price, transit time & other requirements.



Duties & Responsibilities:

•Update daily report to follow up all ongoing shipments.

• Request rates from different external freight forwarders.

• Negotiate to receive a target rate if requested.

• Make sure to send all requested rates to sales department on time.

• Add rates on ERP system.

• Get confirmations from the department manager for each order on how to proceed.

• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for most convenient loading schedules.

• Send inspection request to BV for the destination that might need to be inspected before departure.

• Follow up with the freight forwarders or carriers to have the booking confirmation on time for the shipments after checking that all info mentioned is correct.
