Qualified candidates will be managing and trading a portfolio focusing on freight derivative products, using arbitrage, fundamental, and macroeconomic strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading products such as freight options, freight futures, hedging vessels, freight versus commodity prices, and other shipping-related securities. Additional responsibilities include cultivating broker relationships, monitoring and filtering market information, and efficiently communicating relevant insights to the broader investment team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of trading experience, with at least 3 years of individual profit/loss record, most recently in freight derivatives.
