Freight Trader

We are looking for an energetic and self-driven Freight Trader for one of our global ship operator clients. The Freight Trader would be responsible for pricing of freight and rate negotiation and business development with 3rd party cargo and tonnage clients. He/she will works closely with both internal and external cargo customers, whilst also commercially managing the period fleet, optimizing the regional program. With a focus on expanding the companys reach and access with industrial cargo clients.

The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of relevant experience with shipping preferably handy-size bulk carriers for the Asia Pacific region and possesses strong communication skills and is a self-motivated and assertive individual.
