French as a Second Language/French Immersion Teachers

Serving over 11,000 students in 32 elementary schools and five secondary schools, and five adult learning sites, The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is a dynamic system that respects the traditions of our faith and recognizes that we are part of an ever-changing global world. ALCDSB offers a range of FSL programs which focus on the development of communication skills taught in authentic, meaningful contexts. All our programs reflect the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Vision for FSL: Students in English-language school boards have the confidence and ability to use French effectively in their daily lives.
