Job Description
Join the Department of Computing Science as a Data Science Lecturer at North Campus, Edmonton, for a three-year term starting in July 2026. Inspire and educate students in diverse Data Science courses.
Pursue a full-time teaching opportunity focusing on courses in Data Science. As an Academic Teaching Staff member, you will cover essential subjects ranging from Introduction to Data Science to Scalable Data-Intensive Analytics and capstone projects. You may also take on additional responsibilities as needed based on your skills.
Key Responsibilities: • Teach CMPUT 191: Introduction to Data Science • Instruct CMPUT 195: Principles and Techniques of Data Science • Deliver CMPUT 200: Responsible Data Science and AI • Guide CMPUT 291: File and Database Management • Lead CMPUT 393: Scalable Data-Intensive Analytics
