Full-Time Temporary Elementary Grade 6 Teacher (August 27, 2026 - November 1, 2026)

The successful candidate will have an understanding of project-based learning. They will demonstrate strength in literacy, numeracy, and assessment practices, create meaningful cross-curricular learning opportunities, foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment, and value collaboration with colleagues, students, and families. The assignment details are subject to change to accommodate emerging school and staffing needs.

River Heights School serves approximately 300 students from kindergarten to grade 6 in Medicine Hat. Guided by our motto, “Explore, Create, Reflect,” we encourage students to make connections, think deeply, and reflect on their learning through authentic and engaging experiences.
