Job Description
Make a lasting impact at St. Paul Municipal Library as a Summer Reading Programmer. This temporary full-time role engages children ages 5-14 in exciting learning opportunities through reading.
We are seeking a passionate individual to lead our Summer Reading Program (SRP) while emphasizing diversity and inclusion. Candidates must be aged 16-30 and enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies. This is a temporary position for 15 weeks, 35 hours per week, starting May 15th, 2026, with a pay of $16.70 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage children ages 5-14 through planned activities
• Promote the Summer Reading Program effectively
• Evaluate program success and implement feedback
• Partner with local organizations on library events
• Support colleagues with everyday operational tasks
