Fund and Property Accountant - Independent Contractor

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant or Fund Accountant with a strong background in

real estate accounting to manage fund-level financial operations for our portfolio. This role is

responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and financial oversight at the investment fund

level, not the individual property level. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in property or

real estate fund accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks, and ideally familiarity with Yardi. A CPA

designation is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee all fund-level accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.

 Prepare and analyze fund financial statements, investor reporting packages, and supporting schedules.
