Fund Custodian

Job Description:

• Manage the branch's funds, including cash, checks, and other financial instruments.
• Conduct daily cash counts and ensure that the branch's cash on hand aligns with records.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other cash transactions for branch operations.
• Authorize and disburse funds for approved transactions in alignment with company policies.
• Verify and reconcile disbursement requests, ensuring they are properly authorized.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for all funds handled at the branch.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between cash on hand and system records.
• Maintain detailed transaction records, ensuring accuracy and transparency for audits.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred.
