JOB TITLE: Fundraising Officer
DEPARTMENT: Office of the Executive Director
REPORTING TO: Fundraising & Partnerships Manager
POSTS THAT THIS JOB MANAGES: None
KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Head of Programmes (matrix relationship), Campaign Managers and Officers, Communications Unit, and key International Secretariat (IS) staff
JOB PURPOSE: The main purpose of this job is to
support the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to secure financial support from key giving communities, individual and high-net-worth donors in Kenya and among the diaspora. The post holder does this by organizing professionally curated events, maintaining donor relationships and documenting organizational human rights impact and learning into clear, evidence-based reports and stories capable of generating revenue for our mission.
