About Taleemabad
Pakistan has 22.6 million children out of school. 80% of those who do attend can't read at grade level. The education system isn't short on ambition. It's short on solutions that actually work at scale.
Taleemabad built one.
We created Rumi, an AI coaching system that lives on WhatsApp and gives teachers real-time, personalized feedback on their classroom practice. Not a quarterly visit from an overworked coach. Not a one-off training workshop that everyone forgets. Continuous, intelligent support that meets teachers where they already are.
The results speak for themselves. An independent RCT shows 0.28 standard deviation learning gains. We reach 141,000 students across 631 schools in four provinces. We do it at $50 to $100 per teacher, while traditional coaching programs cost $2,000 to $5,000 for the same effect. Punjab's Ministry of Education has committed 6,000 schools. The Federal Ministry, Sindh, and Balochistan are all partners.
