Duties and Responsibility

• Promptly responds to the First call for the physical retrieval of the deceased from place of death.
• Sees to it all deceased transferred under our care are treated with utmost respect
• Dispatches the driver and attendant/janitor/helper and gives details necessary for the retrieval of the deceased.
• Ensures that all documents needed (Trip ticket, release from/ Death Cert etc.) prior to retrieval are in place.
• Assists and advises the family as to steps to be taken in case the deceased is retrieved from the hospital, residence or if medico legal case, in order to avoid delays.
• Gathers essential information from the bereaved family for proper coordination with all parties concerned.
• Informs the family regarding the basic requirements and procedures for claims (SSS, GSIS, Insurance Memorial plans etc.)
