The primary missions of the Department of Emergency Medicine are to be recognized as leading educators in Emergency Medicine and to be the premier provider of emergency care in our region. This academic faculty position includes significant teaching opportunities with emergency medicine residents, medical students at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and fellows.
