Overview
The QA Tester is responsible for executing test cases, verifying software functionality, and identifying defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. They play a crucial role in validating the application against requirements, finding and reporting defects, and maintaining accurate test documentation.
Responsibilities
Execute test cases based on predefined test plans and test scripts to verify software functionality, usability, and performance.
Record test results, including observed behaviors, defects, and deviations from expected results.
Report and track defects using a defect tracking system, providing accurate and detailed information to assist in defect resolution.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper defect categorization, prioritization, and timely resolution.
Work closely with QA Engineers and QA Leads to clarify test case execution details, raise concerns, and provide feedback on test coverage and effectivenes...
