The primary purpose of this position is to repair all types of gardening and landscaping tools and equipment to include 16 ft (or larger) bat wing mowers both driven and pulled by tractors. Responsibilities - Makes repairs that can be accomplished by removing, replacing, adjusting, and cleaning defective parts or components. - Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on grounds maintenance equipment to maintain serviceability or to restore equipment to a serviceable condition. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains safe and clean work environment. - Uses and maintains hand and power tools and equipment required to accomplish duties of small engine and mower mechanic work. - Operates bush cutters or mower in direct support of grounds maintenance requirements.
