Gardener/Engineering Helper

Job Summary:

This position combines landscaping and grounds maintenance with assisting the engineering department in various tasks. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the hotel grounds while also providing support to the engineering team in maintaining the hotel's physical plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Groundskeeping Duties (approximately 60% of time):

• Planting, weeding, and mulching flowerbeds and other landscaped areas.
• Pruning, shaping, and maintaining shrubs, trees, and other plants.
• Watering plants and lawns as needed, using efficient irrigation techniques.
• Removing debris and leaves from grounds.
• Maintaining garden tools and equipment in good working order.
• Applying pesticides and herbicides as needed, following all safety regulations.
