Gas & Power Risk and Market Analyst (Montevideo Regional Office) (Lomas de Zamora)

Trafigura Group is currently growing its power trading capabilities in short‑term and intraday markets in addition to its established Geneva power trading desk. Therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced middle officer to join our Deals Desk team in Montevideo.

The Deals Desk is a middle office team providing market and risk analysis globally. The team’s primary responsibilities revolve around monitoring all elements of the risk and exposures related to commercial activity and reporting it directly to the Management Board on a daily basis.

As a Gas & Power Deals Desk Analyst, you will play a meaningful role in providing risk oversight to both new and established Latin American power and gas trading desk activities in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia from our Montevideo office and will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure all exposures and PnL are accurately captured and reported.
