As a gastroenterology specialist, you will provide comprehensive care through a centralized referral system, participate in the provincial Colorectal Cancer Screening Program, and utilize advanced procedural capabilities such as endoluminal stenting and pH studies. Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals while engaging in educational initiatives through the UBC Faculty of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient consultations and participate in GI on-call
• Deliver gastroenterology and hepatology services based on referrals
• Utilize unified EMR (Accuro) for patient management
• Contribute to expanding future cancer services
• Optional involvement in specialty Hepatology Clinic
Requirements:
• GI subspecialty training is advantageous but not mandatory
