Job Description

                    Facility in Potsdam, NY seeking Gastroenterology Physician Assistant locums coverage Rates: $130/hr Opportunity Highlights  Start Date: July 6, 2026 
 Duration: 26 weeks 
 Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM 
 Work-Life Balance: No call required. 
 EMR: Epic (Previous experience required). 
 Clinical Scope & Volume The PA will evaluate medical problems in a Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine setting and provide comprehensive education to patients and their families.  Patient Ratio: 1: 
 Patient Demographic: Adults (18+) 
 Acuity: Acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. 
 Support Staff: 1 Physician, 1 NP, 1 LPN, and Anesthesia support for each procedure. 
 Responsibilities: Document medical evaluations and treatments consistent with NCQA and TJC standards.
