Gastroenterology Physician

Specialty: Board Certifie/Eligible Gastroenterologists (4 total needs, need total of 8 candidates to present)
Client: VAMC
Location: San Antonio, TX
Dates coverage is needed: as soon as onboarding is completed -1 year with 4 option years (anticipated start date mid July/August)
Schedule/Shifts Times: Clinic hours Monday Friday 730am 4:30pm
Call Requirements: Will share in call rotation, 1:4 avg
% inpatient / % outpatient: inpatient rounding and outpatient consults
Patient Volume: Varies on types of procedures and consults per day
Patient Ages: Adults, Geriatrics
Types of Cases: GI disorders, Hepatobiliary conditions, Inpatient consults and outpatient management
Support Staff: Clinical Physician staff, nurses, administrative staff (3 perm providers currently at the VA)
