General Accountant, Commissions - Copperleaf - Mat Leave Cover (12-18 months)

Position Overview

The General Accountant is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of variable compensation accounting, and supporting the Accounting team with financial reporting. This role ensures accurate monthly accruals, timely payment processing, and complete alignment between financial reporting, payroll, and our software system. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR/Payroll teams.

Key Responsibilities

Commission & Variable Incentive Management

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual variable incentive programs, including MBOs, presale commissions, and sales commissions.
• Validate sales performance data, compensation plan eligibility, and payout calculations.
• Maintain and update Xactly Incent to reflect earned commissions, adjustments, clawbacks, and payment status. <...
