General Accountant

Job Description:

General Ledger Accounting:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using SAP.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes (FI-GL).
• Post journal entries (manual and recurring) with appropriate documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

Account Reconciliations:

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations of liabilities and all company obligations
• Investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner
• Discuss and highlight issues with site accounting lead on a timely manner

Audit & Compliance:

• Support respective sites for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, corporate policies, and internal procedures.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in process standardization and automation initiatives.
